The way to update your payment method depends on how you originally subscribed:
If you subscribed through the App Store (iOS):
Apple manages all payments made through the App Store, including your billing info. To update your payment method:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name at the top
Select Payments & Shipping
Sign in with your Apple ID if needed
Add, remove, or update your payment methods directly there
Any changes you make here will apply to all App Store subscriptions tied to your Apple ID, including Wiser.
If you subscribed through Google Play (Android):
Google handles payments for Android users. To make changes:
Open the Google Play Store
Tap your profile icon (top right corner)
Go to Payments & subscriptions > Payment methods
From here, you can update or add a new card
Again, changes here will affect all Play Store subscriptions linked to your Google account.
If you subscribed through the Wiser website:
You have more flexibility. Here’s how to update your payment method:
Check your inbox for the confirmation email you received after your initial purchase
That email includes a secure Stripe billing portal link — click that link to access your billing settings
From the Stripe panel, you can update your card details, add a new card, or remove an expired one
Alternatively, if you prefer, you can cancel your current plan and re-subscribe with your new payment method after your current period ends.
